Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka is Belarusian born in Minsk. The father of her Sergey (d. 2019) was an ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka hails from Belarus and was born on 5th May 1998. Aryna Sabalenka holds twelve WTA Singles titles. One that was awarded the title Grand Slam in the Australian Open 2023. Doubles is another area where she is a pro. It was the US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both won with Elise Mertens. Together with the Belgian tennis star she was a WTA 1000s winner at Indian Wells in 2019 and Miami. Women's doubles only had four couples win this title. The 23rd of August, 2021 was the day she climbed to the second spot in the singles world ranking her highest ranking was again reached in the month of January in 2023. In doubles however she pushed her way to the top in February of the same year following her victory in Melbourne making her the second tennis player from Belarus to make it in this specialty. Her coach was former Russian tennis player Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until the conclusion of the 2019 season and partially at the start of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was also the coach she had for a short period between August and September of 2020. As of the year 2020's end, she's been trained by her fellow countryman Antonio Dubrov. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova are among her greatest idols.
